Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Luka Jovic talks, van de Beek latest, Bruno Fernandes setback

Tottenham Hotspur's inconsistent Premier League campaign continued after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Watford yesterday afternoon.

Jose Mourinho's side struggled to get going at Vicarage Road and had goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga to thank for saving a penalty in the second half.

The draw further underlined the need for more recruits if they are to secure Champions League football next season and also in Harry Kane's extended absence.

And here, we round up the day's latest Tottenham transfer rumours.

Spurs in talks for Luka Jovic

Tottenham are weighing up making a move for Luka Jovic this month.

The forward only joined Real Madrid in the summer but already looks surplus to requirements at the Santiago Bernabeu.

And according to Defensacentral, Jose Mourinho is hoping to lure Jovic to the Lane this month to help fill the void left by the injured Harry Kane.

Real Madrid win race for Van de Beek

Tottenham look set to miss out on Donny van de Beek with the Ajax man set to join Real Madrid.

The forward is much in demand following a stellar 18 months which has seen him score 25 times, with a host of European clubs reportedly chasing his signature.

But according to Star Sport, van de Beek will join Los Blancos for £47m.

Fernandes agreement with United  'not so far away'

Former Spurs transfer transfer target Bruno Fernandes isn’t too far away from joining Manchester United.

According to Portuguese publication Record, an agreement is yet to be reached, but it’s ‘not so far away’ after weeks of negotiations between the two clubs.

Spurs saw a bid rejected for Fernandes in the summer, who is believed to be desperate to secure a move to the Premier League this month.
