Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Lloris contract decision, bargain Rodon deal, Rose update

The summer transfer window may now be closed, but the rumours concerning Tottenham Hotspur never seem to stop.

Spurs enjoyed an excellent window, bringing in a host of new players - including a few major signings - and have started the season in tremendous fashion.

Jose Mourinho will have to wait until January to buy or sell any more players, and the club will be very busy behind the scenes to make sure that happens.

Here are the latest Tottenham transfer rumours.

Swansea president opens up on Rodon deal

Swansea City president Alan Curtis believes Tottenham got themselves a bargain when signing former Swans defender Joe Rodon.

The 22-year-old moved from the Liberty Stadium to North London on the domestic-only transfer window deadline day, paying £11m - which could rise to £15m.

Curtis, when speaking to BBC Sport, believes it's way too little when considering Rodon 's ability: "I think £11m maybe rising to £15m is a little bit below what Joe is worth.

"He's certainly worth a lot more money than that."

Lloris next in line for new Spurs deal

Tottenham could offer goalkeeper Hugo Lloris a new contract with the club after securing the future of Son Heung-min, according to The Athletic.

The report, which focuses around Son being close to signing a new deal with Spurs, says that Lloris ' deal will be the "next priority" once the South Korean has put pen-to-paper.

The French shot-stopper's contract expires at the end of next season, and the North London club will move to extend his stay at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Meanwhile, Son is set to sign a new deal with Mourinho 's side to put an end to speculation over his future in the capital.

Mourinho's makes Rose agent claim

Tottenham manager Mourinho has opened up on Danny Rose's future at the club after not finding a new team during the summer transfer window.

The 30-year-old spent the second half of last season at Newcastle United, and has not played a competitive game for Spurs since their 1-0 defeat to Liverpool in January this year.

Rose was heavily linked with a move away from Mourinho's side over the summer, but the Tottenham boss has revealed that it could be the left-back's agent's fault he didn't secure a move away.

The Tottenham manager said: "With Danny, the players and agents make the market. If the agent didn't find a solution for Danny to move, then it's a question you have to ask him."
