Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Liverpool join Ismaila Sarr race, Morgan Sanson interest

Plenty of rumours are circling as to what business Tottenham Hotspur could look to do this summer.

Jose Mourinho has a big job on his hands as he looks to put his stamp on his squad, following what was a somewhat disappointing campaign.

And with Spurs set to go through qualification for next season’s Europa League, the Portuguese will need to add some reinforcements soon.

Here are the latest transfer rumours and gossip coming from north London.

Sarr competition

Liverpool have joined the race to sign Watford winger Ismaila Sarr in this summer’s transfer window.

The 22-year-old was relegated to the Championship with the Hornets last season but interest from several sides could see him playing in the top flight come September.

Mirror Football is also reporting that Tottenham and Manchester United are also tracking the winger’s situation, which could provide stiff competition for Liverpool.

Aurier talks continue

Tottenham Hotspur and AC Milan are still some way off over their respective valuations of Serge Aurier.

That is according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who also claim that negotiations between the two clubs are continuing.

The report also adds that the Serie A giants are still keen on bringing Aurier to Italy, with the Spurs right-back being the club’s main defensive target.

Arsenal join race for Marseille star

Arsenal are set to rival Spurs for Marseille star Morgan Sanson after making contact with the midfielder over a potential move, according to reports in France.

Sanson has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, with Tottenham and West Ham mooted as possible destinations.

The Gunners though appear to have entered the race, and could beat both of their London rivals to his signature.

French outlet Le10 Sport report that Arsenal officials have made initial contact with Sanson’s representatives, although they are yet to discuss terms with Marseille.
