Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Levy set for talks with Paulo Dybala's agent after fee agreed

Only two days remain in the summer transfer window - and Tottenham are still hoping to complete one or two more signings.

Spurs have already welcomed the arrivals of Jack Clarke from Leeds United and Tanguy Ndombele in a club record move from Lyon, but the Lilywhites continue to be linked with a number of other players as well.

As such, there could still be several incomings and outgoings.

Below, we take a look at the latest transfer rumours involving players who could arrive - and leave.

Paulo Dybala

According to  Di Marzio , Tottenham have agreed a fee of 70 million euros for Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, and must now try to find an agreement with the player and his agent regarding personal terms, and control of his image rights.

The report claims the deal will not be easy to complete given the tight turnaround ahead of the transfer deadline - and considering the difficulty which Manchester United had in trying to negotiate, but Spurs are now big favourites to land the Argentinian forward, with the player reportedly more inclined to join Spurs than move to Old Trafford.

Giovani Lo Celso

Daniel Levy has reportedly made it clear to Real Betis that their latest bid for Giovani Lo Celso will be their last.

Spurs have reportedly bid €52m plus €8m in add-ons for the Argentina international, with Betis hoping for more to help their squad rebuild.

The Spanish side are hoping to complete a move for Borja Iglesias, and a replacement for Junior Firpo, who has joined Barcelona.

According to Diario de Sevilla (via  Sport Witness ), Betis’ sell-on clause agreed when signing Lo Celso from PSG is worth 23% of the deal, so they are hoping for a “last-ditch” bid from Spurs that will finally see a deal done.

Philippe Coutinho

According to  The Guardian , Philippe Coutinho’s representatives have contacted Arsenal to see whether there is any interest in a potential loan deal.

But the Gunners have reportedly responded by saying that they are prioritising a defender before the transfer window shuts.

The report claims Barcelona and Arsenal have not yet made any formal contact over the signing.

ESPN  state that Coutinho has also been offered to both Manchester United and Tottenham, with Spurs reportedly a more ‘likely’ destination.

Coutinho played under Mauricio Pochettino at Espanyol and has maintained a great relationship with the Argentine coach.

The report claims any move to north London is complicated, though, and would depend on Spurs selling Christian Eriksen and not signing Bruno Fernandes or Giovani Lo Celso.

Christian Eriksen

According to the  Daily Mail , Manchester United are working hard in order to seal a move for Christian Eriksen before deadline day, with the midfielder top of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's wish list.

However, United are willing to offer just half of Daniel Levy's initial asking price of £130m.

English clubs have until just Thursday to complete any incoming deals. However, they can sell to overseas clubs until September 2nd, and it is claimed that should Eriksen still be at Tottenham after Thursday's deadline, then both Atletico Madrid and Juventus will take advantage by making Spurs an offer of around £50m for the Dane.
