Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Juventus target Harry Kane, Mourinho makes Militao contact

Tottenham's season was handed a significant blow on Tuesday evening as RB Leipzig extended their first-leg lead to knock Spurs out of the Champions League via a 4-0 aggregate lead.

That now leaves all of Spurs' eggs solely in the Premier League basket, as they battle to secure a finish that will lead the club back to Europe's elite competition next season.

While all the focus will be placed upon the remaining league matches that Jose Mourinho's have this season, work in the transfer market will already be underway.

As a result, plenty of speculation is already floating around and we have gathered some of the latest snippets below.

Juventus target Harry Kane

Juventus are eyeing a move for Tottenham forward Harry Kane with the England international reportedly set to consider his future, according to Tuttosport via Sports Mole.

The 26-year-old is currently sidelined due to a hamstring injury and, following Spurs' exit from the Champions League, his future has been drawn into more speculation.

Manchester United are said to hold a long-term interest in the England skipper but Juventus are keen on luring the forward to Turin.

The Serie A champions believe their quest will be boosted by Spurs' early European exit, as they look to partner Kane with Cristiano Ronaldo next season.

Mourinho makes Militao contract

Tottenham manager Mourinho has made contact with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to express interest in Eder Militao, El Desmarque reports.

The 22-year-old arrived at the Santiagio Bernabeu from Porto last summer but has struggled to settle, falling down the pecking order in Zinedine Zidane's side.

Spurs are looking to take advantage of the situation by bringing the Brazilian to North London, with Mourinho seeing the defender as the ideal replacement for Jan Vertonghen.

However, while Zidane's is said to be prepared to accept a sale, the La Liga giants have whacked a mammoth asking price of £70m upon his services.

Chelsea's edge in Boga chase

Tottenham are among the clubs eyeing a move for Sassuolo forward Jeremie Boga along with Napoli and Borussia Dortmund, CalcioMercato states.

The 23-year-old has caught the eye in Serie A, with Chelsea also keen on his services, and the report suggests an auction will occur this summer for his signature.

However, as Sport Witness identifies, Chelsea hold a significant advantage in the hunt for his services due to a buyback clause in the player's contract.

The Blues sold Boga to Sassuolo in 2018 and part of the deal ensures they have an option to bring Boga back to Stamford Bridge for a figure of €15m.
