Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Joe Rodon boost, Arkadiusz Milik twist, Jack Clarke stance

Tottenham have enjoyed a fantastic summer transfer window so far, and it’s not quite over.

Despite the international window drawing to a close last Monday, the domestic-only deadline is on Friday, leaving Spurs with a few more days to get any last minute business done.

There’s been one particular name that has constantly been doing the round on the rumour mill and we will bring you an update on his future.

Here are the latest Tottenham transfer rumours.

Should Spurs win a trophy this season?

Spurs confident on Rodon deal

Tottenham are confident they can sign Swansea City defender Joe Rodon before Friday’s deadline, according to Football Insider.

Spurs saw a bid rejected by the Championship club on deadline day of the international window last week.

However, Jose Mourinho’s side have not given up hope and they are growing increasingly confident of completing a deal for the Wales defender.

The report states that Spurs have offered ‘multiple formulas’ in an attempt to sign Rodon - including a cash-only option, player-plus-cash and a potential loan back to the Swans.

Spurs to look at Milik in January

Tottenham are set to rekindle their interest in Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik in January, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

Spurs were heavily linked with a move for the Poland striker throughout the window, but opted to move for Carlos Vinicius instead.

The deal for the Benfica forward was a loan one, however, meaning Mourinho could be tempted to look for another striker in the mid-season window.

The report states that Mourinho’s side are tempted to make another move for the 26-year-old forward in January.

Mourinho wants to keep Clarke

Tottenham manager Mourinho wishes to keep Jack Clarke at the club, football.london understands.

Spurs signed Clarke from Leeds United back in 2019, and the 19-year-old has had two spells on loan - one back at the Whites and the other at QPR last season.

When speaking on a Q&A, Alasdair Gold of football.london revealed Mourinho’s plans for Clarke: “Everything I’m hearing from those around Jack Clarke is that Spurs want him to develop and learn by training with Bale and Kane. We forget sometimes that he’s 19.

“Of course, you can’t rule out a loan move in the next week if a great offer comes in but thus far, Spurs have rebuffed interest from the Championship. I agree that minutes are going to be hard to come by before January.”
