Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Hojbjerg deal close, Walker-Peters update, Muriqi latest

With a little over a month to go until the new season starts, Tottenham Hotspur fans are keen to see what the club do in the transfer market.

Spurs are yet to make any major signings this summer but Jose Mourinho is keen to strengthen his squad.

With that in mind, here are the very latest Spurs transfer rumours.

Fulham interest in Walker-Peters

Tottenham are still confident of signing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton despite Fulham's interest in Kyle Walker-Peters complicating matters.

Hojbjerg had looked set to move to Spurs with right-back Walker-Peters going the other way.

Yet the Evening Standard report that Fulham have shown an interest in Walker-Peters following a promising loan spell at St Mary's in the second half of the season.

The Cottagers are thought to be readying a bid for Walker-Peters in the near future but Spurs remain confident of landing Hojbjerg no matter what happens to the full-back.

Diallio's heart set on Spurs

Bein Sports, via GFFN, report that Habib Diallo has his heart set on a move to Tottenham.

The Metz striker was the subject of interest from Spurs in January and is now expected to leave the French club this summer.

Whilst Spurs' interest in Diallo this summer is unknown, the 25-year-old is said to be keen of a move to North London.

Spurs are keen on a striker this summer to ease Harry Kane's workload.

Lazio lead Spurs for striker

Turkish paper Fotomac claim Lazio are ahead of Spurs in the queue for Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi.

The Kosovo international is expected to leave the Super Lig club after an impressive first season, with Spurs and Lazio both linked.

Muriqi, 26, has been linked with Spurs for several months.

Leicester City and West Brom have also been credited with an interest in the player yet Lazio are said to have offered an €18million deal that puts them at the front of the queue.
