Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Goalkeeper identified, Jimenez targeted, Kane wanted

The upcoming summer transfer window could be the biggest Tottenham Hotspur have faced in years.

Spurs crashed out of the UEFA Champions League in disappointing circumstances on Tuesday night, losing the second-leg of their last-16 tie 3-0 to German club RB Leipzig in the Red Bull Arena, meaning their hopes of winning a trophy are over for another season.

The Champions League remained the only trophy available to Tottenham until Tuesday evening, after crashing out of the FA Cup to Norwich City last week.

Right now, Spurs are in a real rut and are in desperate need of a victory to lift the spirits around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

But with manager Jose Mourinho growing under increasing pressure, it appears as though the summer window cannot come quickly enough for the Portuguese chief.

With that in mind, here is a look at the very latest Tottenham transfer news, as a busy summer of activity beckons in North London.

Spurs identify goalkeeper

Tottenham are set to go toe-to-toe with Chelsea this summer to battle it out for the signing of AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, report the Mail.

Spurs are highly likely to be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper this summer, with Hugo Lloris having committed a collection of errors as this season has unfolded and fellow goalkeeper Michel Vorm is out-of-contract at the end of the campaign.

And it appears that Spurs may have identified their ideal target in the shape of Ramsdale, who has been a solid performer for the Cherries this season, in what has been his first, full campaign as an established No.1 'keeper at this level.

But Chelsea are also on the hunt for Ramsdale, too, meaning Spurs may be forced to enter a bidding war this summer if they are serious about landing the 21-year-old.

Jimenez targeted

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez has been identified as a summer target for Spurs this summer, as the club look to try and solve their striker shortage, report The Boot Room.

Injuries to Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son have left Spurs very short on options over the past few weeks, meaning Mourinho has been forced into playing midfielder Dele Alli as a striker.

But in a bid to avoid this being repeated next season, Spurs look set to make a swoop for Mexican international Jimenez, who has netted 22 goals in all competitions this season.

In the past, Mourinho has described the 28-year-old as "fantastic."

United target Kane

Manchester United are wanting to sign Spurs striker Harry Kane this summer, but would have to break their record expenditure to sign the England captain.

That is according to the Daily Star, who are reporting that the Red Devils are keen to add the striker to their armoury.

Kane, though currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, is considered as one of the world's most deadliest strikers and has often been linked with moves to some of the world's biggest clubs.

It is reported that Kane would cost the Old Trafford club a whopping £150million.
