Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Fekir transfer decision hands Spurs boost, £20m deal close

There are now less than four weeks left in the transfer window - and Tottenham are expected to still be busy over the next month.

Spurs have already signed Jack Clarke from Leeds United and Tanguy Ndombele in a club record move from Lyon, but the Lilywhites continue to be linked with a number of other players as well.

As such, there could still be several incomings and outgoings over the next few weeks. Below, we take a look at the latest transfer rumours.

Giovani Lo Celso

Spurs have been given a boost in their pursuit of Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, with Nabil Fekir arriving in Seville to sign for Betis on Monday afternoon.

According to Estadio Deportivo, Fekir will seal a deal worth €24m.

The arrival of the French star, who had been considering a move to Napoli, will allow Lo Celso to finally leave, with Spurs the favourites to sign the Argentina international.

Ryan Sessegnon

Spurs are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham.

According to the Telegraph, Fulham have shown interest in Spurs players Josh Onomah and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, but it is unclear as of yet whether either or both players have been offered as part of the deal - or whether Fulham would consider bidding for them with funds raised from the Sessegnon deal.

The Cottagers’ interest in the duo is said to have helped advance negotiations for Sessegnon, who is now expected to become a Spurs player this summer for £20m plus add-ons.

Dani Ceballos

Unai Emery has reportedly told Arsenal chiefs to use this week’s friendly against Real Madrid to close a deal for Dani Ceballos.

The midfielder is available on loan this summer and has offers from both the Gunners and rivals Spurs. Real are said to have no preference over which of the north London sides Ceballos joins.

ABC Sevilla state that Emery has asked Arsenal chiefs to “take the reigns” and finally close a transfer with Florentino Perez when they meet the Spanish side on Tuesday night. The deal will see Ceballos join on a one-year loan with no option to buy, and the Gunners will be paying his salary in full.

Christian Eriksen

Tottenham Hotspur have offered Christian Eriksen’s services to Atletico Madrid, Spanish outlet AS reports.

It is claimed that Spurs handed an opportunity to Diego Simeone’s side to sign the Denmark international for a fee of £60m.

However, he is reportedly holding out for a move to join Manchester United, Real Madrid or Juventus.
