Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Eriksen's biggest Real Madrid hint yet, record deal is close

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with big money moves for a number of players already this summer.

But no big names have so far come through the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium front doors.

However, the club are close to sealing two big transfers as the club prepare to make their first signing since January 2018.

Here we run through the latest rumours surrounding those names.

Jack Clarke

Leeds United starlet Jack Clarke is on the verge of joining Tottenham Hotspur, after reportedly completed his medical ahead of an £8.5m move to north London.

According to Sky Sports , the medical took place in the middle of last week, and though there are a few details yet to be finalised, the 18-year-old is on the verge of completing his move.

The two clubs have been in discussions about the 18-year-old for the last few weeks and several parts of the deal have now been agreed after developments this week.

Tanguy Ndombele

Tottenham are closing in on a deal to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele for a club record fee, football.london understands.

The north London club have been tracking the 22-year-old France international for the past two years and finally made their move this summer for a player who is top of Mauricio Pochettino’s summer transfer wishlist.

Giovani Lo Celso

South American football expert Tim Vickery has given his take on the reports linking Real Betis star Giovani Lo Celso with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The 23-year-old Argentine has been linked with making the switch to north London once his involvement with Argentina at the Copa America is done next month.

Lo Celso scored the second goal as Argentina saw off Venezuela 2-0 to reach the semi-finals.

Christian Eriksen

According to The Times, members of Christian Eriksen’s family have been spotted house hunting in Madrid.

The sighting is the latest clue that the Spurs midfielder has set his heart on a move to Real Madrid this summer, having already admitted that he wants a new challenge.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has slapped a £100m price tag on the Dane, despite the playmaker only having one-year left on his contract in north London.
