Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Bailey interest, £22m Aurier exit, Sessegnon loan deal

Tottenham are gearing up for an extended campaign next season as they will enter the Europa League qualifying rounds, adding extra fixtures to their schedule.

With a short turnaround ahead of the new season, squad depth is vital and Jose Mourinho, having seen his side struggle last season, will want reinforcements ahead of the new campaign.

A host of players have already been linked with a move to join Mourinho's side ahead of the 2020-21 season across a number of positions.

Alasdair Gold's Spurs season debrief and the transfer window

Here, we have gathered some of the latest reports surrounding Spurs.

Leon Bailey targeted

Tottenham are going toe-to-toe with Everton for the services of Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey, according to Sport 1 via Buli News.

Both Premier League clubs are said to be preparing to run the rule over the 22-year-old during the Bundesliga side's Europa League clash with Rangers.

Bailey has previously been courted with a host of top sides across European football and would provide a significant boost to either side.

They could be aided by the fact that Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, all of whom have previously been linked with a move, are prioritising other additions.

Mourinho willing to sell Aurier

Jose Mourinho is willing to sell Serge Aurier in the summer transfer window amid reported interest from AC Milan, the Evening Standard states.

The former Paris Saint-Germain full-back has struggled to establish himself in North London and could be allowed to leave in order to raise funds for incoming pieces of business.

It's stated that Spurs are looking to earn €25m (£22m) from the sale of the Ivory Coast international but Milan are not willing to spend that amount.

The Serie A side have reportedly already held positive talks with the player's entourage and it's suggested a meeting point for a deal could be around the €20m mark.

Fulham target Sessegnon loan

Newly-promoted Fulham are looking to sign Ryan Sessegnon from Tottenham on loan ahead of their return to the Premier League, the Telegraph states.

Scott Parker's side defeated West London rivals Brentford in the Championship play-offs on Tuesday to seal the final spot in the top-flight for the 2020-21 season.

New signings are now being targeted and Sessegnon, who moved to Spurs for £25m last summer, is being eyed for a return to Craven Cottage.

Sessegnon has been linked with a wealth of other sides, including Barcelona, and Fulham would only be able to afford a loan deal.
