Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Attacker's transfer collapses, club confident of keeping star

There are now less than two weeks left in the transfer window - and Tottenham are expected to still be busy before deadline day.

Spurs have already signed Jack Clarke from Leeds United and Tanguy Ndombele in a club record move from Lyon, but the Lilywhites continue to be linked with a number of other players as well.

As such, there could still be several incomings and outgoings over the next few weeks. Below, we take a look at the latest transfer rumours.

Gareth Bale

Real Madrid have reportedly called off a deal that would take Gareth Bale to Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning.

The 30-year-old has already flown to China to seal a move, but according to the  BBC , the deal is now off.

As things stand, Bale will be staying at Real Madrid after the Spanish giants called off the deal.

Paulo Dybala

Juventus are set to go up against Serie A rivals Inter Milan for the signature of Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku.

The 26-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Antonio Conte’s side this summer, and United rejected a £54m bid for the player from Inter earlier this month.

Now, however, Juventus are looking to put in a last minute bid, and according to Sky Sports News they are willing to offer Argentina international Paulo Dybala to United in order to try to land their man.

Dybala was one of Juve’s key players before last season, and scored 22 goals in 33 appearances in Serie A during the 2017-2018 season.

His form dipped with the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo , however, and during the last campaign he disappointed, finding the net just five times in 30 Serie A appearances.

Tottenham have also been linked with a move for the 25-year-old , and United may well be tempted into a deal which involves the player.

Ryan Sessegnon

Fulham boss Scott Parker says he expects Ryan Sessegnon to stay at the club, despite interest from Spurs.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are hoping to agree a deal for the teenager, who has just a year remaining on his current contract.

However, after Sessegnon picked up an injury during the European Under-21 Championships in June, the 19-year-old is yet to feature for Fulham in pre-season. And Parker told  West London Sport  that he expects the player to stay after completing a comeback from injury.

"He’s rehabbing back to a point where he can feature.

"We’ll try everything we can [to keep him].

"We’ll see what will happen from there but at this present time, with 10 days [of the transfer window] to go, he’s a Fulham player and we fully expect him to rehab back from his injury and play a big part."
