The start of Tottenham Hotspur's new season is just one week and one day away with the countdown well and truly on.
Fans may well be excited for the new campaign, but with only Matt Doherty, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Joe Hart in so far, Jose Mourinho will be desperate for time to slow down as he works with Daniel Levy to strengthen his squad.
Spurs do have until early October to get their business done, but they will be hoping to wrap up a new signing or two before the big kick-off.
And with that in mind, we have rounded up all the latest on the transfer front below.
Villa eye Spurs stopper
Aston Villa are eyeing a move for Spurs goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.
That's according to Sky Sports, who say the Tottenham stopper has become a priority target for Dean Smith, who wants competition for Tom Heaton between the sticks.
Though, the report claims it's 'unclear' whether Gazzaniga would prove too expensive for the Midlands club.
The Argentine goalkeeper has been with Spurs since 2017, making just 22 league appearances since.
Tottenham won't pay asking price for defender
Tottenham are still said to be interested in South Korean defender Kim min-Jae.
The Beijing Guoan centre-back has been linked with a move to North London all summer, but it has gone quiet.
Until recently, when it was reported by Citta that Lazio were interested in the defender, but they face competition from Tottenham.
Though, the move is not progressing just yet with Beijing wanting £15million and Tottenham only willing to pay just under £9million.
Spurs could return for Barca star
Tottenham could return to Barcelona with a fresh bid for young prospect Lucas de Vega.
According to Sport, Spurs offered just £2million only to be sent packing with Barca keen to keep the centre-midfielder around.
But the Catalan club could let him go for double that, and Spurs could well make the move a successful one by offering up the £4million.
That could be enough despite the 20-year-old Brazilian midfielder being seen as a 'key part' of Barcelona's youth setup.
