Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: Arkadiusz Milik swap deal, Kim Min-Jae latest

Tottenham Hotspur could be set for an interesting summer under Jose Mourinho as they look to prepare for next season.

Spurs remain in the hunt for Champions League football, although they have a lot of work to do, meaning Europa League appears to be a more realistic option.

That could have a big effect on the business they’re able to do in the transfer market this summer, with plenty of speculation about the incomings and outgoings in North London.

Here are the latest transfer rumours and gossip from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Moura/Milik swap

Arkadiusz Milik continues to be linked with a move to North London, and Spurs could be interested in a swap deal to land the forward.

The Poland international’s contract at Napoli runs out next summer, and with no agreement reached yet, he could be on the move this summer.

The Serie A side have made it clear they want €50million for the striker if he is to leave, but Spurs could find a way around that by inserting a player of their own into the deal.

Corriere dello Sport report that Lucas Moura could be the man used to try and lure Napoli into a deal, with AC Milan also reportedly interested in Milik.

Kim Min-Jae interest

Tottenham are interested in signing South Korea defender Kim Min-Jae, and will monitor his talks about leaving Beijing Sinobo Guoan.

The 23-year-old, nicknamed “Monster”, is in discussions with the Chinese Super League team after making critical comments about his team-mates and coach.

Those comments were broadcast back in his home country, meaning he now looks set to be on his way out of China.

According to the Telegraph, Spurs are leading the chase for a £13.5m deal in order to boost Jose Mourinho’s defence for next season.

Milik agent plays down move

Although Spurs are being heavily linked with a move for Arkadiusz Milik, the player’s agent doesn’t appear so keen.

Vincenzo Morabito discussed Milik’s situation with Radio Marte, and revealed he has reservations about his player moving to North London.

“Milik’s problem is his contract expires in 2021,” Area Napoli report. “I’m not so convinced of Tottenham; he would go there and be the reserve [striker].

“Tottenham wanted Olivier Giroud in the past and he didn’t accept because there is no room with Harry Kane.”
