Latest Tottenham transfer rumours: £25m bid prepared, Forsberg update, Vertonghen exit claim

Tottenham suffered a Premier League top four blow at the weekend thanks to a 2-1 defeat at Chelsea and it further enhanced the notion that recruitment is needed this summer.

Spurs had endured a rough season before Jose Mourinho took over from Mauricio Pochettino.

But there are still some clear signs of struggle which see Tottenham sat sixth in the Premier League and down 1-0 on aggregate in their last 16 Champions League tie against RB Leipzig.

The transfer rumours ahead of the summer window in regards to incomings and outgoings are already plentiful. Here is the latest round-up of gossip on Spurs.

Jose Mourinho: I have no complaints about my players

£25m bid prepared

Tottenham are preparing a £25million bid for Ugurcan Cakir in the summer transfer window, according to reports.

The Trabzonspor goalkeeper has been linked with a move to the Premier League of late and per the daily sports paper Fanatik, Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of the 23-year-old.

Spurs reportedly see Cakir as the long-term replacement for Hugo Lloris, who is 33 and contracted to the club until the summer of 2022.

Tottenham offered winger

Emil Forsberg has been offered up to Tottenham ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports.

The 28-year-old winger's time at RB Leipzig appears to be coming to an end at the climax of the current campaign.

A summer exit for the Sweden international is likely and SportBild, per Sport Witness, claim that Forsberg could leave for the Premier League, with Tottenham said to be interested.

Forsberg is valued at €20million (£16.8m).

Inter keeping tabs on Tottenham defender

Inter Milan could make move for Jan Vertonghen in the summer transfer window as Tottenham also prepare for outgoings.

Spurs and Vertonghen have been in talks over a new contract for the Belgium international.

Vertonghen's current deal finishes at the end of the season and he could move to the Serie A on a free transfer, according to the Evening Standard.
