Latest Tottenham transfer news: Spurs plot late Willian move, Kim Min-jae latest

Tottenham Hotspur endured a rough 2019/20 campaign but have managed to qualify for the Europa League.

But that is not good enough after four back to back seasons of Champions League qualification.

It's clear recruitment is needed and the transfer rumour mill is going into overdrive as a result.

Here is the latest round-up of gossip on Tottenham.

Spurs battle for Korean star

Tottenham are chasing the signature of South Korea international Kim Min-jae, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Alasdair Gold's Spurs season debrief and the transfer window

The 23-year-old currently plies his trade for Beijing Guoan in the Chinese Super League.

Spurs, Lazio, RB Leipzig, Everton and PSV are reportedly all keen on the centre-back.

Rose happy to stay at Tottenham

Danny Rose insists that he is happy to remain with Spurs heading into the final year of his contract at the club.

Rose spent time on loan at Newcastle United last season but has returned to Tottenham this summer as his future remains in doubt.

“I am very happy to stay at Tottenham and see my last 10 or 11 months out, I would love to,” Rose said on the Second Captains podcast. “There is nothing I want more than to play one more time in front of the fans.

“My last game for Spurs was a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool and at the time I didn’t know that was going to be or could be my last game for Spurs. I want nothing more than to play in front of the Tottenham fans one more time, just to cherish all the moments we have had over the years with them.

“They have always been good to me. I have possibly given them reasons in the past not to be so good to me, but they know when it was game time I gave everything for them. I will continue to do that as long as I am contracted to Tottenham.”

Tottenham could thwart Arsenal transfer

Tottenham are planning to hijack Arsenal's transfer move for Willian.

The Brazilian has turned down a two-year deal at Chelsea and Arsenal are reportedly willing to offer the forward the three-year contract he wants.

But now Spurs are in the mix and eager to thwart the attempts from the Gunners, according to The Independent.
