Tesco, Aldi, Asda and Morrisons issue food recalls on cereal, Aptamil and more

Supermarkets including Aldi, Tesco and Morrisons have issued important food recalls over the last week.

Products that have been pulled from shelves include cereals, chicken and chocolate spread.

In some cases, the Food Standards Agency - which oversees recalls - said some of the recalls were issued because ingredients are not mentioned on the labels.

Other foods have been pulled over fears of salmonella contamination or pieces of plastic that have been found.

When a product has been recalled, you should be able to return it to the place you purchased it, or the manufacturer, for a full refund.

In most cases, you do not need to have your receipt to get your money back.
