Latest Strictly Come Dancing odds reveal favourite to be first eliminated

There is already a clear favourite with bookies for a Strictly winner this year, but who will be the first eliminated?

Leading bookmakers Ladbrokes have already slashed odds from 6/1 to just 4/1 on the former footballer Alex Scott to take home the Glitterball Trophy for Strictly Come Dancing 2019, making her clear favourite to go all the way.

Tailing behind Scott is former Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley, Karim Zeroual and Jamie Laing (all 6/1), while Anneka Rice remains at the bottom of betting.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Punters reckon Alex Scott will be adding the Glitterball Trophy to her cabinet later this year."

However, Anneka is not the favourite to be the first eliminated, with that honour falling to BBC sports presenter Mike Bushell.

The presenter is closely followed by British professional paralympic tennis player Will Bayley, and then Emma Thynn, Viscountess Weymouth.

Here are the odds.
