The January transfer window is nearly upon us and, in a few weeks time, the madness will once again begin for clubs across the continent.
For Tottenham, it is the first opportunity that new boss Jose Mourinho has to put his own imprint on the squad and the two-time Champions League winner is yet to rule out adding to his squad in the upcoming window.

Merih Demiral latest
Four Premier League sides are in talks with Merih Demiral’s representatives according to Turkish Football .
One of them clubs is Tottenham who have been reported as expressing an interest in Demiral, alongside both Arsenal and Manchester United.
The Turkey international is believed to be keeping his options open regarding a January move after struggling for playing time under the stewardship of Maurizio Sarri.
The 21-year-old was signed on a €19m move from Sassuolo in summer before Sarri was appointed manager.
Mourinho eyes bargain deal
Jose Mourinho finally looks set to get his hands on James Rodriguez.
Spanish TV channel El Chiringuito, via Calciomercato , has listed Spurs as the major suitors for the 28-year-old, who has not played for Los Blancos since October 22.
According to the report, Rodriguez could move to London for as little as €40m in the upcoming window.
Napoli have also been mentioned as suitors for Rodriguez after almost signing him in the summer, but reports in Spain reckon it is Tottenham who look the most likely destination for the Colombian.
West Brom look to ward off Spurs interest
Tottenham’s interest in Nathan Ferguson has forced West Brom to offer the young defender a £20,000-a-week contract.
The 19-year-old defender has been a mainstay in Slaven Bilic’s side so far this season and has also been attracting the interest of Crystal Palace.
But The Athletic is reporting that Albion have offered Ferguson a hefty pay rise is a bid to fend off interest from Spurs.
