Latest Spurs transfer rumours: Chelsea play part in Christian Eriksen deal, Jack Clarke wanted by Leeds' rivals

The January transfer window is nearly upon us and, in just over a weeks time, the madness will once again begin for clubs around Europe.

For Tottenham, it is the first opportunity that new boss Jose Mourinho has to put his own imprint on the squad.

Following a slow start to the season, Spurs are playing catch-up in the hunt to secure Champions League football again next season and new additions could provide the platform for a turnaround in the latter half of the campaign.

With that in mind, we have gathered some of the latest rumours floating around for you below.

Tottenham: A look back at 2019

Chelsea offered Isco as Real bid to secure Eriksen

Isco has been offered to Chelsea in a £44million deal by Real Madrid - in a bid to build funds to make a move for Christian Eriksen.

Los Blancos, according to the Mirror, are trying to offload players to make way for a move for Eriksen next month, with Isco top of the list.

The 27-year-old has been frozen out by Zinedine Zidane - while Eriksen is free to leave Spurs in the summer, meaning the north London club could be forced to cash in on the Dane.

Fulham and Brentford set to target Clarke

Fulham and Brentford are believed to be considering a move for Jack Clarke in January.

Reports have surfaced that Clarke’s parent club, Tottenham, could recall the winger from his loan spell at Leeds next month due to a lack of game time.

And according to the Mail , both Fulham and Brentford are keen on securing the 19-year-old on a deal until the end of the season.

Mourinho planning Soumare swoop

Jose Mourinho is eyeing a January swoop for Lille midfielder Boubakary Soumare in the upcoming window.

The 20-year-old has already made 23 appearances for Lille during the 2019-20 campaign, including six outings in the group stages of the Champions League, having joined the club from Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.

French publication L'Equipe, cited on SportsMole , believe Jose Mourinho is keen to secure the Frenchman’s services in January.
