A further 2,233 Covid cases have been diagnosed in Scotland within the last 24 hours.
Figures have been published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland (PHS) this afternoon as part of the national Covid-19 daily briefing.
Nationally, there are 753 patients being treated in hospital which is down 23 from yesterday. There are currently 57 people with the disease being treated in ICUs.
The number of newly-reported positive coronavirus cases recorded by NHS Ayrshire & Arran has increased by 172 to 47,405.
Of the new cases, 81 were from East Ayrshire, 49 in South Ayrshire and 43 attributed to North Ayrshire.
A total of 666,880 positive tests have now been recorded from 3.486 million tests carried out since the start of the pandemic.
According to Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, the Orkney Islands has the highest rate in the country – at 669.6 as of Monday, November 8.
Na h-Eileanan Siar has the second-highest infection rate at 615.1 while Clackmannanshire is third with 575.2.
In terms of Ayrshire's local authorities, East Ayrshire's rate is 542.8 and it is 353.8 in North Ayrshire. South Ayrshire's is 352.2.
A total of 10 of Scotland's 32 council regions have an infection rate below the national average of 346.7.

Another 20 deaths mean 9,313 people have passed away since March 2020.
However, data from the National Records of Scotland (NRS) shows 11,672 deaths had been registered up to Sunday, October 31 where the disease was mentioned on the death certificate.
Across the UK, the figure is 141,862 as of last night.
There are 69 patients being treated for the disease in Ayrshire hospitals, which is down 16 on yesterday, and fewer than five people in ICUs.
Nationally, a total of 4,324,440 people have received the first dose of a Covid vaccine and 3,918,528 are doubled jabbed.
