A further 313 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Scotland – but there have been no new deaths from the disease.
Public Health Scotland said this afternoon that, due to technology issues, the latest figure for cases covers the last 26 hours rather than the usual 24-hour period.
Data from NHS health boards in Ayrshire and Arran, Dumfries and Galloway, Orkney and Shetland may be incomplete, health chiefs say, due to IT issues. The missing numbers will be included in tomorrow's data.
According to Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Clackmannanshire now has the highest infection rate in the country – at 139.7 as of Sunday, May 23.
The second-highest is Glasgow City which has a rate of 136.8 while East Renfrewshire (113.1) has the third-highest rate.
Locally, North Ayrshire's infection rate stands at 43.8, East Ayrshire's at 29.5 and South Ayrshire's at 13.3. The Scottish average is 43.9.

There are currently 94 Covid patients in Scottish hospitals with five in Ayrshire.
A total of five people are receiving treatment in intensive care units across the country.
Meanwhile, 3,121,945 people have received the first dose of a Covid vaccination and 1,852,179 have received their second dose.
