A further 2,240 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Scotland in the last 24 hours – including 135 in Ayrshire and Arran.
Latest data published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland shows there are 902 Covid patients in Scottish hospitals – that's a rise of eight since Friday.
The number of people battling the virus in ICUs across the nation is 57 – a redution of three over the same period.
There are 110 Covid patients in Ayrshire hospitals – up nine from Friday – while seven people are being treated for the disease in intensive care.
No new deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours mean Scotland's death toll remains at 9,052.
However, 11,406 deaths have been registered in Scotland where Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to Sunday, October 17.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, Clackmannanshire has the highest rate in the country – at 586.9 as of Sunday, October 24.
East Ayrshire has the second-highest infection rate at 474.5 while West Lothian is third with 449.4.
In terms of Ayrshire's remaining two local authorities, North Ayrshire has a rate of 315.8 while South Ayrshire's is 305.9.
Of the new cases reported in Ayrshire, 48 were in North Ayrshire, 45 in East Ayrshire and 42 in South Ayrshire.
