A record 3,285 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Scotland – including 214 in Ayrshire.
Figures published by the Scottish Government and Public Health Scotland today show 202 people are currently being treated for the virus in the nation's hospitals – an increase of 14 from Friday.
There are 20 people with the disease being treated in ICUs across the nation which is up four from Friday.
No new deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours meaning Scotland's death toll from the virus remains at 7,712.
In terms of Public Health Scotland's rolling seven-day infection rate per 100,000 population, numbers soared over the course of the weekend. Dundee City now has the highest rate in the country — at 657.6 as of Sunday, June 27.
East Lothian has the second-highest infection rate at 623.8 while Midlothian is third with 566.7.
Of Ayrshire's three local authorities, East Ayrshire has the highest rate of 380.3 compared to North Ayrshire's rate of 239.0 and South Ayrshire's 188.3.
Of those new Ayrshire cases, 80 were in East Ayrshire, 69 in North Ayrshire and 67 in South Ayrshire.

There are 14 Covid patients in Ayrshire hospitals – down three on yesterday – while fewer than five people are battling the disease in intensive care in the region.
A total of 3,765,379 people have received the first dose of a Covid vaccination and 2,691,775 have received their second dose.
