The start of the new Premier League season is just a matter of weeks away, and there’s plenty of business to be done before the big kick-off.

The 2020/21 campaign is set to get underway on September 12, just over a month after the previous season concluded.

With the transfer window open, clubs have already been dipping into the market, and there plenty of big deals still in the offing.

Here are the latest transfer rumours and gossip coming from the Premier League.

Premier League 2020/21 fixtures: Liverpool host Leeds on opening weekend

Thiago latest

Reports in Germany are suggesting Thiago Alcantara's time with Bayern Munich is up with the midfielder 'set for a move to Liverpool'.

A report from Der Spiegel has claimed the Spain international 'will move' to Anfield this summer.

The midfielder won the Champions League on Sunday night in what reports are suggesting could be his last ever game for the treble winners.

Dortmund 'awaiting' realistic offer for Sancho

Borussia Dortmund are still waiting for a realistic offer for Jadon Sancho - according to reports.

Sky Sports News claim Sancho would be willing to tell Dortmund he wants to leave the club if Manchester United submit an offer that meets the German side’s valuation.

United are believed to still be in talks with Sancho's representatives with the blessing of the Bundesliga side as they aim to secure a deal this summer.

Silva deal done

Chelsea are putting the final touches together on a deal to sign former Paris Saint-Germain skipper Thiago Silva.

The 35-year-old is a free agent after leaving the French giants following their Champions League final  defeat to Bayern Munich on Sunday night.

And Sky Sports are reporting that Silva will pen a one-year deal at Stamford Bridge whilst others state it will be a two-year stay.

Anderson interest

Arsenal want to sign West Ham winger Felipe Anderson on loan, according to a report from The Telegraph.

The Gunners are keen to add another wide man to Mikel Arteta's squad and have tried to sign the Brazilian temporarily.

The report claims that West Ham will only allow Anderson to leave on a permanent deal, with the 27-year-old having fallen out of favour under David Moyes at the end of last season.
