Latest Premier League transfer rumours: Man United’s Badiashile decision, Chelsea boost

Leeds United continue to make waves with their transfer business this summer.

The Whites are close to landing Rodrigo from Valencia and have now also been linked with a surprise move for Luiz Felipe at Lazio.

Yet the rest of the Premier League are not resting on their laurels as they attempt to prepare for the new season.

Premier League new season in numbers

Here are the latest Premier League transfer rumours.

United’s Badiashile decision

Manchester United have opted against pursuing their interest in Benoit Badiashile any further.

United have reportedly seen a £22m bid for the Monaco defender rejected with the Ligue 1 side keen to keep the 19-year-old.

The Daily Mail report that they will not pursue the player further, despite some impressive form for Monaco.

It hands Chelsea a boost, with the Blues also heavily linked with a move for the French under-19 international.

Zaha determined to leave

The Guardian report that Wilfried Zaha is determined to leave Crystal Palace this summer.

Zaha has long been keen for a new challenge and there is rumoured interest in him from Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and Monaco.

Yet no formal offer has yet been made for the 27-year-old, who has been subject to interest from Arsenal and Everton in the past.

That has left the attacker willing to bide his time in order to get a move away from Selhurst Park with the transfer window set to run until September.

Ramsey rejects Newcastle

Italian journalist Nicolo Schira says that Aaron Ramsey has rejected a move to Newcastle United.

The Juventus midfielder is rumoured to be available for transfer this summer, just a year after moving to Turin from Arsenal.

His high wages have meant that Juve may look to move him on in order to free up money to spend on targets - although new manager Andrea Pirlo may opt to keep him.

Reports in Italy now claim that Newcastle opened talks over bringing the 29-year-old back to the Premier League but he was not keen on a move to St James’s Park.
