It has now been over three weeks since a ball was last kicked in the Premier League and the likelihood of one being kicked again anytime soon appears slim.
The season was postponed up until April 30, at the very earliest, over a week ago, after the campaign had originally been put on hold until April 3.
But with the COVID-19 crisis only worsening, it seems unlikely that the season will resume at the end of next month.

Manchester United confident of Saul swoop
The Daily Star are reporting that Manchester United are growing increasingly confident of signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul this summer.
The Spanish international is regarded as one of the best central midfielders in world football and has been linked with a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano ahead of this summer.
And it appears that Old Trafford could be a possible destination for the 25-year-old, with United ready to pay £135million for the midfielder, which would be a club-record transfer-fee.
The Red Devils are keen for Saul to act as a like-for-like replacement for Paul Pogba, who is being linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Newcastle keen on Burnley duo
Newcastle United are keen on signing out-of-contract Burnley duo Jeff Hendrick and Robbie Brady this summer, according to TEAMtalk.
The duo are set to leave Turf Moor at the end of June, unless new deals are agreed, meaning the Magpies could sign the pair on free-transfers.
The report states that Hendrick is in talks with the Clarets about putting pen to paper on a new deal, though a host of other Premier League clubs are showing an interest in the former Derby County man.
Brady, meanwhile, has worked with Newcastle boss Steve Bruce in the past when the pair were at Hull City together, meaning the former Sheffield Wednesday manager will be well aware of the qualities Brady could provide.
Hammers join Spurs in Eze chase
Football Insider are claiming that West Ham United have joined London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign highly-rated QPR midfielder Eberechi Eze - but are in no rush to complete a deal.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder has taken the Championship by storm this season with his tricks and wizardry, which has led to plenty of interest in his services ahead of the summer.
Tottenham are believed to be very keen on securing the signing of the midfielder, who has contributed to 20 Championship goals this season in terms of goals and assists.
