Big money offer on the table for Adam Lallana
Liverpool could be set to lose Adam Lallana as the player entertains a big-money offer from Leicester, according to Football Insider.
Lallana, 32, is in the final weeks of his Liverpool contract and could leave the club this summer.
Now, Football Insider claim that the Foxes are leading the race to snap up Lallana with a big-money offer.
The same report cites teams in Italy and Spain, as well as Premier League quartet Tottenham, Arsenal, West Ham and Burnley as being interested in the midfielder.
Jurgen Klopp has made no secret of his appreciation for Lallana, describing him as “pure joy to watch” a year ago.
The England international has been limited to just three starts this season during his 22 appearances for the Reds.
Everton keen to extend Djibril Sidibe’s loan deal
Everton will seek talks with Djibril Sidibe about extending the player’s loan deal at Goodison Park, according to the Liverpool ECHO .
Sidibe, 27, joined the club on loan from Monaco last summer which runs until June 30, according to the ECHO .
The news that the Premier League is set to return next month has forced Everton to consider extending the defender’s loan.
The club does hold a purchase option for Sidibe, believed to be in the region of £13million, but it is unclear whether the coronavirus has altered the club’s decision to activate the clause.
The report claims that Jonjoe Kenny’s situation is likely to impact the decision over Sidibe, with the Kirkdale born defender due back at the club in July.
Manchester City and Newcastle chasing Uruguayan starlet
Facundo Pellistri is a target for both Newcastle and Manchester City, according to reports.
Pellistri, 18, is currently on the books of Penarol and is being coached by former Manchester United striker Diego Forlan.
His performances under Forlan have earned him rave reviews, and a string of European clubs are now interested in securing his services.
The report cites rival interest from the likes of Boca Juniors and Real Madrid, with the talented winger said to be valued at around £10million.
Speaking on the youngster’s talent, Forlan told Fox Sports’, Joga Bonito:
“Pellistri has huge potential. There is still a lot to work on. He is growing, and he makes a difference. We know it will be difficult to keep him for a long time. He has great pace, and that is hard to handle.”
