Latest pictures as Jadon Sancho trains amid Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United £108m transfer standoff

Jadon Sancho has been pictured in training at Borussia Dortmund’s preseason camp in Switzerland as the stand-off over his proposed transfer to Manchester United ramps up.

Sancho’s presence at the camp looked unlikely a few weeks ago, with a move to Old Trafford having been touted all season.

However, Dortmund set today, August 10, as a deadline for the two clubs to strike a deal for the England winger, as they look to gain clarity over their plans ahead of the new Bundesliga campaign, and no fee has yet been agreed.

Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said on Monday afternoon that Sancho would be staying at the club next season, with his contract having been extended until 2023 last summer.

"We plan on having Jadon Sancho in our team this season, the decision is final,” Zorc said.

"I think that answers all our questions."

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains determined to land his No1 target, with United’s hierarchy always refusing to be rushed over negotiations with German giants.

It is understood United never considered Dortmund’s ‘artificial’ deadline to be a serious barrier to bringing Sancho to Old Trafford, but the Bundesliga club's latest stance appears to have upped the ante.
