Latest order from TRU Plant takes plant hirer's investment in JCB machines to £16 million

Digger-giant JCB has secured an order for 30 new Loadall telescopic handlers as part of a plant hirer's massive investment worth nearly £16 million.

The Staffordshire manufacturer landed the deal from Ipswich-based TRU Plant - part of the TRU7 Group - which has already invested in over 300 JCB machines - including backhoe loaders, rough terrain forklifts, Teletruk, site dumpers and telehandler models - in the last 18 months.

All of the machines were manufactured at JCB's World headquarters in Staffordshire and were supplied by dealer Watling JCB.

TRU7 Group owner, Guy Nicholls said: "We are truly passionate about plant hire and the whole team here at TRU7 Group shares our attitude and expertise.

"Thanks to our resources and, most importantly, the right equipment, we have quickly put TRU Plant on the map as a major player in the hire industry.

"There are many reasons we choose JCB. We are loyal to the brand which has played a major part in our success, we have a long-standing relationship with the company and the customer care we receive from our dealer Watling JCB is excellent.

"We’ve been very impressed with the new JCB machines as we strive to invest in the best equipment on the market."
