Many managers have predicted this season's NIFL Premiership title race could turn into a three or four-horse race.
Just one point separates the top three right now while champions Linfield sit in fourth - five points adrift but with three games in hand.
Coleraine remain unbeaten to sit top of the table on goal difference from Crusaders, with Cliftonville one point behind in third.
Last season's Premiership runners-up Ballymena United have struggled to hit top form this term, alongside Glenavon and Larne who have yet to find any sort of consistency.
Glentoran have shown glimpses of quality, while at the bottom end of the table it is Warrenpoint Town who are labouring at the basement with just three points.
As for the betting odds, has much changed since before a ball was kicked?
Well, Linfield's odds have shortened at the head of the market, as have Crusaders' price.
The big movers are Cliftonville and Coleraine whose odds have been slashed, while Ballymena and Larne's odds have lengthened substantially.
Here are the latest odds (from BetMclean.com), and the price they started with (in brackets) back in July:
Betting odds
Linfield 11/10 (11/8)
Crusaders 9/4 (3/1)
Cliftonville 8/1 (14/1)
Coleraine 8/1 (16/1)
Ballymena 20/1 (7/1)
Larne 20/1 (12/1)
Glentoran 25/1 (25/1)
Glenavon 66/1 (14/1)
As for the top goalsorer odds, Joe 'The Goal' Gormley continue to leads the way at 9/4 (BetMcLean.com), with Crusaders forward Paul Heatley (4/1) and Linfield striker Shayne Lavery (4/1) in hot pursuit.
