May is on track to be one of the wettest on record, with Wales already recording 129% (110.6mm) of its average rainfall for the whole of the month, ahead of the UK who has recorded just 88% (61.1mm).
Bala has had one of the highest percentage of rainfall in the UK with 287% of its normal rainfall, with Cardiff not far behind at 250%.
But according to the Met Office that could all finally be turning around.
Patchy showers will continue today as a band of rain crosses the UK, but hopefully that is when it starts to get closer to the temperatures we expect in May.
According to the Met Office, then "temperatures will start to return to average, if not above average by the end of the week."
While Tuesday and Wednesday begin getting slightly warmer, but showers are still anticipated.
However, high pressure is expected from Thursday which should boost our temperatures closer to what we would expect at this time of year.
Once this period of high pressure comes in, it is expected that we will continue to see warmer weather throughout Wales, however further showers have not been completely ruled out.
