The latest news on the roadworks affecting motorists on the M621 have been revealed.
Expect closures overnight in the coming days, and reduced speed limits along the route.
The clockwise carriageway (eastbound), will be full closed overnight for four nights starting tomorrow (Tuesday, May 7) for barrier work. So far Next phase of M621 roadworks begin - speed limits, motorway closures and everything you need to know in the central reservation, but a further 2000 metres is yet to be put in place.
These latest closures will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
In terms of speed limits, there will be narrow lanes on the same carriageway from the M621 at junction 6 to junction 7, with a 40mph speed restriction.
Also, the anti-clockwise carriageway (westbound) will have narrow lanes from junction 7 to junction 6 with a 50mph limit, until September.
These planned new and ongoing improvements are correct as of May 2, and are subject to change due to weather conditions and unforseen circumstances.
