Latest looks from Kate Spade at NY Fashion Week

NEW YORK _ This fall, shoppers can look forward to leopard-print puffer coats, sleek capes, romantic prints and charming handbags from Kate Spade NY.

The American design house took over the Russian Tea Room in midtown Manhattan on Friday to unveil its latest collections. Fall 2017 pieces were inspired by the creativity and romance of 1920s Paris with moody florals, rich embroideries and whimsical handbags shaped like cakes and Russian nesting dolls. It was a celebration of strong women set to a soundtrack of spoken phrases such as "she's a leader in her field" and "she believed she could, so she did."

On another floor, the brand showcased spring looks available now in stores and online at KateSpade.com. Vibrant tassels, a camel-print jacket, bold rose prints and more cute and quirky bags (this time, camel- and monkey-shaped ones) channeled the warmth and magic of Morocco. To make the moment even sweeter, guests munched on caviar and cookies with a side of tea.
