Latest Leeds United transfers rumours: Josko Gvardiol price tag detailed, Rodrigo De Paul blow

Leeds United are eager to add more talent to their squad ahead of the summer transfer window deadline on October 5.

The Whites have done a great job of signing talent this summer, with the likes of Robin Koch and Rodrigo Moreno acquired.

But more must be done if Leeds are going to be competitive on all fronts this season.

In light of this, here is the latest rumours round-up on Leeds.

Gvardiol 'interest' detailed

Leeds United are 'seriously interested' in Dinamo Zagreb centre back Josko Gvardiol, with the Elland Road club weighing up a move for the 18-year-old.

Premier League new season in numbers

The Athletic report that Gvardiol is valued by Dinamo Zagreb at £20 million. It's believed such a price tag is within the budget of the Elland Road club, although no decision has been made on whether a new central defender will be targeted before the end of the summer transfer window.

Gaetano Berardi and Ben White both left Leeds United at the end of last season, but with Koch signed from Freiburg and Pascal Struijk promoted.

De Paul blow

Leeds United face competition for the signing of Rodrigo De Paul, with Serie A sides believed to hold on edge in the race for the Udinese midfielder.

The Athletic claim Udinese want between €35-40 million (£32-36.4m) for De Paul, although a number of Serie A sides could include players in part-exchange for the Argentina international.

AC Milan, Juventus and Roma have all, at one point or another, been linked with a move for De Paul, providing Leeds with stiff competition for the signing of the 26-year-old.

Last season saw De Paul score seven times and contribute six assists in 34 Serie A appearances as Udinese finished a disappointing 13th in the Serie A table.

Gotts move to be decided

Reports suggest Huddersfield Town and Hull City are both interested in Robbie Gotts.

The 20-year-old is set to move out of Leeds on loan this summer and it has now been decided he will go to whichever club makes the best offer over the youngster's game time.

It could well mean the Whites turn down Championship football for the player in order to give him more game time with Hull in League One.
