Latest Leeds United transfer rumours: Udinese boss on Rodrigo De Paul links, Gyrano Kerk blow

Leeds United now have one week to complete any more signings before the summer transfer window shuts next Monday.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have brought in seven new players to help them establish themselves as a consistent Premier League side once again.

However, the Whites are still in the market for another player or two before the window closes - if reports are to be believed.

Here, we have rounded up the very latest transfer rumours concerning Leeds.

Leeds suffer Kerk blow

Leeds will not be signing FC Utrecht winger Gyrano Kerk this summer, according to The Athletic, despite contrasting reports.

There are reports that the Whites are set to make a push to sign Kerk, but the report states that he will not be moving to Elland Road.

Italian sides Cagliari and Hellas Verona are both interested in making a move for the winger after an impressive 2019-20 season.

Kerk scored 11 goals and provided 12 assists for his team-mates last season in all competitions for the Dutch side.

De Paul not distracted by Leeds links

Udinese manager Luca Gotti has insisted his midfielder Rodrigo De Paul is not distracted by the reports linking him with a move to Leeds.

De Paul has been a target of the Whites all summer-long, according to reports, but Gotti is adamant that his midfield star is fully focused on his football.

Gotti was asked if De Paul was distracted, and replied: “No.

“I see a player aware of what he wants to do and how, when he goes onto the pitch, he gives everything he can give.”

Leeds not giving up on Pulgar move

Leeds have not given up hope of signing Fiorentina midfielder Erick Pulgar, according to La Nazione ( via Sport Witness ).

The Italian outlet are reporting that it is set to be a “decisive week” with several outgoings still possible for the Florence-based side.

The Whites are “ready to jump” with a €12m offer for the 26-year-old, however, that may not be enough for the Serie A side to accept.

But the report also states that if Bielsa’s side up their offer to €14/15m, then “anything can happen”.
