Leeds United may not be sure what division they will be in next season, but that has not stopped them planning ahead.
With the Championship campaign restarting next weekend, all eyes are on whether the Whites can secure their long-awaited promotion back to the Premier League.
Yet the long break between matches has given them the perfect opportunity to start looking at who they will target in what is sure to be an intriguing summer transfer window.
Here are the latest rumours from Elland Road.
Foyth closes in on deal
Leeds United are on the verge of agreeing a loan deal for Juan Foyth.
The defender looks set to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer having fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho.
Leeds are long-term admirers of the Argentinian, with Marcelo Bielsa having previously scouted him when managing Lille.
The likes of Barcelona and some Serie A clubs have also been linked with the 22-year-old, but Leeds appear close to securing a loan deal for his services.
Sportsmole report that, if all goes to plan, Foyth will spend the 2020/21 season on loan at Elland Road.
Erras negotiations
The Daily Mail report that Leeds United are one of a number of clubs to have held preliminary talks over a move for German midfielder Patrick Erras.
Erras is out of contract at Nurnberg this summer and was last year a target of Newcastle United.
Brentford, QPR, Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers are also said to be interested in the midfielder, who is 6ft 5ins tall.
Leeds' interest in Erras hinges on whether they win promotion to the Premier League, but the fact he is a free transfer could be attractive due to the blow the coronavirus has had on finances in football.
