Premier League trio battle for Motherwell teenager
Leeds, Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion are battling each other to sign Motherwell teenage defender Sam Campbell, according to PA ( via FourFourTwo ).
The report states that all three clubs have had bids accepted for the 16-year-old, but Campbell himself has not decided where his future lies just yet.
Crystal Palace are also monitoring the situation, but the Eagles haven't made a bid for the highly-rated teenager.
Campbell is yet to make a senior appearance for the Scottish club, but was selected for the under-18s team when he was just 14-years-old.
Sky Sports pundit claims Rangers may have to sell Kent
Reported Leeds target Ryan Kent could be sold by Rangers this summer, according to Sky Sports pundit Andy Walker.
Walker believes that now clubs have to wait even longer for their fans to return to stadiums, it could force some teams to sell their biggest players.
The former Celtic striker said in his Sky Sports column : “Rangers’ Ryan Kent has been attracting interest from the Premier League newcomers Leeds United. They’ve already had one bid knocked back, would anyone really be surprised if Rangers cashed in given the same scenario they are in with Celtic, namely, burning millions of pounds every month allied to a much-reduced income?
“If anything, Rangers’ need to generate serious money is greater than Celtic’s. It’s a fact that in the last set of accounts released by the Ibrox club, it told of a loss of over £11m in the last financial year despite generating £14m through their exciting Europa League run.”
Leeds eyeing Bayern Munich youngster
Leeds are eyeing a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Cuisance this summer, according to a report in French publication, Foot Mercato.
Cuisance signed for the European champions in 2019 from Borussia Monchengladbach for a fee of around £9million.
The French outlet are reporting that Bielsa is in “love” with the midfielder, and the Whites are now “strongly considering” testing Bayern’s resolve with a bid.
However, they could face some competition for the Frenchman, with Ligue 1 side Marseille also interested in the 21-year-old.
