There is now just under two weeks until the summer transfer window comes to a close and for Leeds United, these next 13 days may prove to be crucial.
So far this summer, the Whites have signed the likes of Rodrigo Moreno, Helder Costa, Robin Koch, Illan Meslier, Joe Gelhardt and Jack Harrison.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have been linked with a host of other names as well, as they look to consolidate their spot in the Premier League.
Here, we have gathered the very latest transfer stories that involve Leeds.
Leeds have 'closed agreement' for Llorente
Leeds have a 'closed agreement' for Real Sociedad defender Diego Llorente, and the player is now set for a medical in Yorkshire, according to Marca journalist Yon Cuezva.
Bielsa’s side could sign Llorente in the coming days, as Sociedad have identified two potential replacements, according to Marca.
It emerged on Tuesday that the Whites were in 'advanced talks' with the Spanish centre-back ahead of an £18 million deal.
The report states that the La Liga club have marked Atletico Madrid defender Mario Hermoso and Espanyol’s Leandro Cabrera as potential replacements.
Whites will have to sign Mario permanently
Reported Leeds target Joao Mario will only be available on a permanent deal this summer, with no possibility of a loan move, according to Record.
The report claims that the Whites are interested in signing the Inter Milan midfielder and have made contact over a potential deal this week.
However, Mario will not be allowed to leave the San Siro on a loan deal, instead Bielsa’s side may have to pay £15m for the Portuguese midfielder.
Whilst there’s been no price quoted just yet, last year the Daily Mail reported that Mario was valued at the aforementioned price.
Kent’s release clause revealed
Ryan Kent has a £20 million release clause in his contract at Rangers, according to Football Insider.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has reiterated the Scottish club’s desire to keep the ex-Liverpool man, with the Whites reportedly having a bid turned down for him earlier in the summer.
The report claims that when Gerrard was asked about Kent’s release clause, he did not confirm it, but crucially he didn’t deny it either.
Kent made the switch to Ibrox from Anfield last summer, costing Rangers a fee of £7m - with the clause reportedly inserted into his contract then.
