Leeds United have been busy this week after bolstering their squad with a number of additions, announcing three arrivals in less than 2 hours.
Monday night saw confirmation that Jack Harrison is returning to Elland Road for a third loan spell from Manchester City and was followed by the announcement that Joe Gelhardt has been captured from Wigan Athletic.
Tuesday morning saw another arrival confirmed, with Charlie Allen arriving from Linfield, and the trio follow on from the permanent deals for Illan Meslier and Helder Costa after their loan stints at the club.
Further business is expected though and here we have gathered some of the latest snippets surrounding Leeds United.
Cash targeted
Leeds United are rivalling other Premier League clubs in the hunt for Nottingham Forest defender Matty Cash, the Sheffield Star suggests.
The Blades have reportedly made a £10m bid to Forest for the defender but face competition in the market.
As well as Leeds, Aston Villa and AC Milan are also monitoring the situation, according to reports.
David bid
Leeds tabled a bid worth a huge £31.4million bid for Jonathan David but were rejected by the soon-to-be-former KAA Gent star.
That is according to HLN, who report that the 20-year-old is due to undergo a medical with Lille after the Ligue 1 club had a £24.7million offer, plus “hefty” bonuses, accepted.
The Belgium publication adds that Gent used Leeds’ club-record offer to drive up the fee they wanted and that David had no intention of joining the Whites this summer.
McGurk bid rejected
Leeds United have seen a bid for Wigan Athletic's Sean McGurk rejected, according to Football Insider.
The Whites have already snatched Joe Gelhardt from the cash-stricken Latics, who are set for a wealth of departures following their relegation to League One.
A bid of £300k was said to be made for 17-year-old McGurk but that approach has been rejected.
