Leeds United will continue their hunt for promotion to the Premier League when the season restarts in 10 days’ time.
If the Whites are promoted to the top-flight, it will be a massive summer transfer window for Marcelo Bielsa and the Leeds hierarchy.
However, their spending may be limited due to the coronavirus pandemic’s impact on clubs’ finances all around the world.
It still seems Bielsa is looking elsewhere for potential additions, though, and here are the best transfer rumours regarding his side from today.
Manchester United’s stance on James revealed
Leeds will not be signing Manchester United winger Daniel James on loan this summer, according to the Manchester Evening News.
James has been linked with Leeds in the past – including last January when he was at Swansea City – but United have no intention of allowing him to leave Old Trafford.
The 22-year-old winger settled in at the Premier League giants very early on, but his form worsened as the season progressed.
Instead, the report states that James is actually more likely to sign a new deal with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
Leeds target is now a free agent
Leeds target Samuel Yohou is now officially a free agent, as the defender has left French side Paris FC.
The French club have revealed on their official website that Yohou has left the club and thanked him for his commitment.
French outlet Le10 Sport claimed last month that Bielsa’s side are interested in the defender, with Ben White potentially returning to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Leeds may face some competition for the 27-year-old, with newly-promoted Coventry City and Crotone also interested in the French centre-back.
Whites ‘keeper looking for English move
Leeds goalkeeper Harrison Male is aiming to find an EFL club to join as he prepares to leave the Whites this summer, according to Football Insider.
The 19-year-old is set to leave Elland Road after not being offered a new deal, and the report states that Male is hoping to find a team in the EFL to play his football.
Male signed his first professional contract with Leeds in May 2019, but has found himself out of contention with Kiko Casilla and Illan Meslier the two first-choice options for Bielsa.
