Leeds United picked up their first win of the 2020-21 Premier League season yesterday, with a thrilling 4-3 victory over Fulham.
Next up for the Whites is a Yorkshire derby against Sheffield United in seven days’ time, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side look to build on their impressive start.
By the time Leeds travel to Bramall Lane, Bielsa will be hoping to have one or two more faces through the door at Elland Road.
With that being said, here are the very latest Leeds-related transfer rumours from around Europe today.
James back on radar
Leeds are once again interested in Manchester United winger Dan James, according to a report in The Sun.
The Whites were keen on signing James when the young Welshman was at Swansea City, and had problems dealing with the Championship side.
However, now the 22-year-old is at Old Trafford, perhaps the Leeds board can enjoy more success if they were to go back in for James.
Bielsa’s side could look to sign James on a permanent deal, but there has also been talk of a loan move for the United forward.
Leeds in talks to sign Toulouse midfielder
Leeds are in talks to sign Toulouse’s teenage midfielder Manu Kone, but there is a slight complication, according to RMC Sport.
The report states that Whites boss Bielsa is yet to give a potential move for Kone the 'green light'.
If Leeds were to move for the 19-year-old, then they could face stern competition from European giants AC Milan.
Bielsa’s side have reportedly switched their attention to Kone after missing out on Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher - who moved to West Bromwich Albion on a loan deal.
De Paul deal 'one step away'
Leeds are now only “one step away” from signing Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul after major developments in negotiations.
That’s according to Corriere della Sera (via Sport Witness), who claim that Leeds have finally made the breakthrough in talks for their summer target.
The Italian outlet claims that Udinese should be getting a fee in the region of €30m, plus potential add-ons.
De Paul reportedly turned down a move to Zenit St. Petersburg earlier in the summer, as he prefers a move to England and to Elland Road.
