Latest Leeds United transfer rumours: Ben White transfer plan, Premier League deals revealed

Leeds United are set for a big summer as they plan for their first season back in the Premier League.

The Whites ended their 16-year wait for a place back in the top flight last night, with West Brom's 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield Town enough to a return to the promised land for Marcelo Bielsa and his side.

On Saturday they were confirmed of champions after Brentford were beaten by Stoke City.

Now as they prepare for their long-awaited top-flight return, they’ll be looking to bolster their ranks in order to face some of Europe’s elite once again.

Here are the latest transfer rumours and gossip coming from Elland Road.

Leeds confirm White stance

Angus Kinnear has reiterated Leeds United's desire to sign Ben White.

"We have some conversations to have with Brighton," he told a Zoom press conference.

"We know they and other clubs rate Ben very highly.

"He loves the club, he knows he's going to get game time under Marcelo so we have a small competitive advantage but we're going to be fighting with some big names."

Leeds transfer plans

Leeds United are keen to ensure they can strengthen their squad this summer and will start by completing permanent deals for Illan Meslier and Jack Harrison.

The Mirror report the Whites will get these deals wrapped up early on as a warning sign, before bombarding Brighton for White's signature.

The report states White is the club's top transfer priority and a deal for Liverpool defender Yasser Larouci is also in the works.

CSKA's Gaich move back on

Adolfo Gaich is reportedly on the verge of a move to CSKA Moscow, having previously been linked with a move to Elland Road.

The striker has been attracting attention from a number of clubs across Europe after a standout season for San Lorenzo in Argentina.

The 21-year-old had been tipped to link-up with compatriot Marcelo Bielsa in the summer, with Leeds joining the likes of Galatasaray, Nantes, Benfica and Roma interested.

But, according to Tutto Mercato ( via Inside Futbol ) a deal to take him to Moscow has been revived, having seemed to have collapsed not long ago.
