There is just over one week remaining for Leeds United to make any late additions to their squad.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side continued their great start to the Premier League season on Sunday afternoon, with a late header from Patrick Bamford ensuring they are on six points from a possible nine, beating Sheffield United 1-0.
Bielsa and the Whites’ hierarchy have also endured a busy summer transfer window so far and here we have gathered the very latest Leeds-related transfer rumours from around Europe.
Leeds bid £15m for Norwich star
Leeds have bid £15million for Norwich City playmaker Todd Cantwell, according to a report on Football Insider.
The Whites have reportedly made their move for the 22-year-old - who was left out of the Canaries’ squad for their Championship match against Bournemouth.
Daniel Farke’s side had a poor season last time out in the Premier League, and suffered relegation as a result.
However, Cantwell was one of the very few positives to come from the campaign and established himself as an exciting talent.
Whites dealt blow in James pursuit
Manchester United winger and reported Leeds target Daniel James has said he wants to stay at Old Trafford, according to Sky Sports.
James, who was a target for the Whites before he made a move to Manchester last summer, is struggling to get a place in the United first-team.
However, the Wales forward is said to have told manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he wants to stay and fight for his place.
It is also claimed that Leeds made a loan offer for James, and the situation may be reassessed if United can bring in another winger.
Leeds lose to Liverpool in race for wonderkid
Leeds are set to lose out on Motherwell starlet Sam Campbell, with the highly-rated teenager about to join Liverpool, Football Insider have claimed.
The 16-year-old is wanted by three Premier League clubs - Liverpool, Leeds and Brighton & Hove Albion.
However, the Whites are set to miss out with Campbell set to visit the Premier League champions for a tour of their stadium and training facilities, as well as talks over a deal.
Leeds and Liverpool have both had bids accepted for Campbell, according to reports, and he is reportedly set to do something similar and visit the Whites over the next few weeks.
