It’s perhaps the biggest summer in recent Leeds United history, as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.
The last time that the Whites were in the top-flight, it was called the Premiership, that’s how long it’s been.
Now, under the tutelage of Marcelo Bielsa, they built a team that won the Championship in explosive fashion, but they are aware that they may need to strengthen their squad in order to maintain Premier League football.
With that being said, we’re taking a look at the very latest Leeds-related transfer rumours from around the world.
Leeds step up pursuit of Dennis
Leeds have tabled a bid for Club Brugge forward Emmanuel Dennis, according to French journalist Manu Lonjon, via MOT Leeds News.
Bayer Leverkusen have also looked at the Brugge forward as a potential replacement for the seemingly Chelsea-bound Kai Havertz.
Napoli, as well as Leeds, have also made an offer for the forward, who is rated at about £22million by the Belgian side.
Dennis scored nine times and provided two assists in 33 appearances across all competitions for Brugge last season.
Cook price tag
Bournemouth have put a £15million price-tag on Lewis Cook, as Leeds look to re-sign the 23-year-old, according to Football Insider.
The Whites are monitoring Cook’s situation as they look to strengthen the centre of their midfield ahead of their first season back in the top-flight.
Cook’s Bournemouth side were relegated last season, and with Eddie Howe leaving the club, a few of their key players could be on their way out.
The report states that the Cherries are aware of Leeds’ interest, but want £15m for him to ensure a £9m profit after signing him from Elland Road four years ago.
More competition for Eze
Fulham are the latest club to register an interest in reported Leeds target Eberechi Eze, according to West London Sport.
The QPR star looks set to leave Loftus Road this summer, with a host of Premier League clubs such as Leeds, Fulham, West Ham United and Crystal Palace all reportedly keen.
The Hoops rate Eze at about £20million, and Palace’s bid of around £8m was unsurprisingly turned down by Mark Warburton’s side.
Eze had a sensational season in the Championship last time out, scoring 14 times and providing eight assists in 46 league appearances.
