Latest I'm A Celebrity rumours hint Everton star and Louise Redknapp could join show

A former Everton player and singer Louise Redknapp are the latest names to join I'm A Celebrity's rumoured contestants.

Last week, Louise, 47, entered the bookies' list of potential I'm A Celebrity stars.

Louise's odds were slashed from 28/1 to 6/4 as punters think she could finally be set for a stint on the popular ITV show.

But she's not the only star to be linked with a trip to the Welsh castle.

Ex-Everton player Paul Gascoigne is the latest star to have his name thrown into the I’m A Celebrity mix.

Paul appeared on the Italian version of the programme, L’Isola dei Famosi, earlier this year.

But he was forced to drop out after injuring his shoulder during an accident on the show.

Whilst Paul returned to the series after a trip to the hospital, he eventually left the camp after the pain became too much.

A BestofBets.com spokesperson said: “Louise has always been high on I’m a Celebrity’s wanted list and the odds are tumbling.

"She’s touched on the subject of joining the line-up a couple of years ago but nothing came out of it."

They added: "It’s well known that Gazza has been close to signing up to the hit show previously but because of concerns that he hasn’t been in the best shape, he's had to back out.

"But in the last 24 hours, his odds have taken a nose-dive from 14/1 down to as short as 5/2, so this may well be the year when Gazza takes on Wales.

“No doubt that Gazza is a big attraction for producers, as he has been for the last few years, but the ex-England, Spurs and Rangers star would most definitely provide some great entertainment, as he did on the Italian version of the hit show."
