The Scottish Government today said that 1400 people have now tested positive for coronavirus in Lanarkshire.
It comes as 1515 patients across Scotland who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.
And eight people in Lanarkshire were in intensive care at midnight, with confirmed or suspected coronavirus.
The Scottish test numbers for May 1 show a total of 56,702 people have been tested across the country.
Of these:
■ 45,048 tests were confirmed negative
■ 11,654 tests were positive
■ 1515 patients who tested positive have died
■ 109 patients were in intensive care last night, with 101 of those having tested positive
■ There were 1,809 people in Scottish hospitals with either confirmed or suspected COVID-19 (including those in intensive care).
