Latest general election odds: Who the bookies predict will win - and there is a HUGE favourite

The bookmakers are backing Boris Johnson to win the as Britain heads to the polls.

Voting is under way and the Conservative Party is odds-on to win a majority.

Bookmakers predict a Tory landslide, with the party 1/25 to win the most seats.

Punters would have to risk £100 just to make £4 profit.

Perhaps more crucially, the party is 4/11 to get the much needed majority needed to push through.

Despite a rocky week - in which Mr Johnson was accused of pocketing a reporter's phone in a bid to avoid a picture of a young boy on a hospital floor - the odds on the Tory's reclaiming Downing Street have actually lengthened during the campaign.

Just over two weeks ago, a Tory majority was 4/9 with Ladbrokes.

However, those gains doesn't appear to be at Labour's expense.

The odds on Jeremy Corbyn's party winning the most seats or a majority have also shortened - although Labour is still deemed a long-shot.

It is the Lib Dems who have taken the biggest hit, with the odds of them winning the election doubling to 200/1 in just a few weeks.

However, if the Tory's don't form a majority Government, SkyBet say the most likely alternative could see Mr Corbyn in Downing Street.

A Labour minority is 9/2, while a coalition - including the SNP and Lib Dems - is 12/1.
