If you watched the replay of Joe Burrow suffering a left knee injury Sunday, you already knew the prognosis wouldn’t be good.
We now know a bit more about the specifics regarding the severity of Burrow’s injury, and as expected, it’s significant. Burrow tore multiple ligaments in the knee, and suffered additional structural damage, per multiple reports.
It’s unclear just how long Burrow’s recovery will take with such a significant injury, so we don’t know yet whether or not his rehab process will impact his availability for the start of next season.
Burrow is as competitive as they come, so there’s no doubt he’ll be back on the field as soon as possible. Here’s hoping for a full recovery, so Burrow can build on the impressive rookie season he was putting together for the Cincinnati Bengals.
