A further 172 people in Leeds have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
This brings the area's total number of confirmed infections to 35,528.
Leeds was one of three areas to record more than 100 cases within a day.
Across Yorkshire, 1,102 new cases have been reported and sadly, 39 people who tested positive have died in our region's hospitals.
Of those deaths, one was recorded at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Leeds, like the rest of West Yorkshire, is set to enter Tier 3 when the second national lockdown ends on December 2.
There is hope however that this could change before Christmas.
Newly confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Yorkshire over the past 24 hours
In the last 24 hours, 1,102 people in Yorkshire have tested positive for Covid-19.
Most areas in the county have recorded less than 100 new cases.
Leeds, Sheffield and Bradford saw the biggest increase while York only recorded 20 new cases.
So far, 202,084 people in the region have tested positive for the disease since the start of the pandemic.

39 Covid-19 deaths in Yorkshire's hospitals
Thirty-nine deaths have been recorded across ten Yorkshire NHS trusts in the last 24 hours.
So far, 4,268 people who contracted the virus have died in the region.
Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust recorded the highest daily figure with 11, followed by Bradford Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust with seven.
Across England, a further 208 people, who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 40,405.
Patients were aged between 39 and 100 years old.
All except 13 (aged 56 to 86 years old) had known underlying health conditions.
Date of death ranges from October 25 to November 28 with the majority being on or after November 25.
Their families have been informed.

Yorkshire's infection rates
Infection rates continue to steadily decrease across Yorkshire as we are about to enter the final days of the second national lockdown.
Hull continues to have the highest infection rate in the county with 368.8 cases per 100,000 people.
Most West and South Yorkshire areas have recorded an infection rate of less than 300 while the majority of North Yorkshire's rates has dropped below 200.
When lockdown ends on December 2, West and South Yorkshire will be placed under Tier 3 restrictions and North Yorkshire will be in Tier 2.
There is speculation however that restrictions could be eased further before Christmas, depending on factors such as infection rates and hospital admissions.
